I stopped the update procedure, but I'm afraid the complexity of licensing especially if updates become close to automatic. Here's the worry, since all three CS use my Adobe ID, the Adobe Application Manager on computer 2 prompted me to download another copy of the different CS components that I only have running on computer 1! It is as if the AAM knew that I had only one copy installed on computer 1 and was attempting to update the wrong CS on computer 2. Computer 1 is using a different CS than I have running on computers 2 and 3. I have three Adobe CS suites and since you can run a licensed copy on up to two computers (desktop and laptop, for example), computers 2 and 3 share a Mac version of CS and computers 2 and 3 share a Windows version of CS. Another really strange behavior is that I have three computers:Ĭomputer 2: Mac running OS X and Windows (boot camp)Ĭomputer 3: Mac running OS X and Windows (boot camp) I use the standard user login (but I do have administrator privileges, so I'm not sure it matters). There is definitely a hang condition on OS X Mountain Lion. I too have seen the same behavior as Jim did. I checked Premier CS6 to see if the update appeared to be applied, and it said v6.0.2 in the About dialog, so as far as I can tell the updates are being correct applied, it's just the Adobe Applicatoin Manager won't close after the updates are finished. Launching Adobe Application Manager when there are no updates to download (it reports I am up-to-date) will close without an issue (with Command Q). I had this set to launch at login and its launch was freezing the PC. After a little investigation I found there to be some conflict with the launch of Adobe Creative Cloud. I could not launch any programs, the entire system became unresponsive. This morning starting the system the desktop froze. So, running at as an Admin does not make any difference. Yesterday I applied the Anniversary update.
